Round 4: Hard combo from Yan to start and he sprawls on a shot. Good punches in close. Heavy left uppercut rattles Sterling, who eats a low kick and shoots. Sprawled on. Yan trying to do damage as Sterling scoots away. Knees to the thigh a minute in. Brief takedown attempt from Yan. Body kick and jump knee connect. Counter left. Sterling tries a single-leg, lands a low blow that Yan shrugs off. Sterling times a low kick from Yan and jumps on his back, but Yan slips out the back door and avoids a triangle to set up in guard two minutes in. Sterling holding him close. Short shots from Yan. Yan postures up and drops a heavy right hand. Knee to the body from behind. One minute to go. Sterling tries to roll, eats elbows. Yan back on top in half guard, doing damage. 10-9 Yan.

Round 5: Low kick from Yan knocks Sterling over. Continuing to be the aggressor. Sterling shoots, denied, gets back in on a double-leg against the fence. They separate. Round 1: Chimaev fires front kicks, then shoots behind a right hand. Some knees stray low. He changes levels, drags Burns to a knee, then pulls him to his seat a minute in. Burns works his way up, tries to granby roll, ends up on his back. Chimaev stands over him and kicks at his legs until the ref lets him up. Hard low kick from Burns. Two minutes in. They trade on the fence. Burns digs a body shot after taking a low kick. Counter left. Chimaev tries a three-piece that’s blocked. Burns launching rights. Two minutes to go.

Left hook lands for Burns as Chimaev stalks forward. Quick exchange. Chimaev slips as they trade, comes back with a leg kick. Head kick attempt, then a lead right that crumples Burns. Chimaev follows into guard and tries to bomb away, avoiding an armbar before standing over him. Ref lets him up. Both hurl heavy rights. Chimaev leg kick. 10-9 Chimaev.

Round 2: One of the ground-and-pound elbows opened up Burns’ forehead, but the cutman appears to have dealt with it well.

Burns aggressive to start, shoots, denied. They trade right hands. Chimaev switching stance well. Stiff double jab, but Burns comes back with a good right hand. Body kick and right cross a minute in. Low kick from Chimaev. Chimaev cross counter. Burns low kicks and right hand. Chimaev forces him back with punches. Solid jab and he denies a single-leg. Looping right appears to land for Chimaev and they trade in center cage. Burns shoots, pulls guard when it’s not there, then kicks Chimaev off. Burns smiling now. Counter right by Chimaev. One minute to go. Some more heavy exchanges, big overhand from Chimaev. Burns to the body, eats a cross. Chimaev more aggressive to end the round, tanks a huge overhand right and gets dropped by the one behind it. Burns fires a soccer kick and Chimaev takes him down before the bell. 10-9 Burns.

Round 3: Left hand and low kick from Burns. Trading jabs. Short uppercut from Chimaev, eats a left hand in return. Solid right hands on the fence. Burns ducks one and shoots. Great balance by Chimaev, who separates. 1-1-2, short uppercut. He’s landing against the fence and Burns looks like he’s wilting. Chimaev ties up. Two minutes in. Trading right hands after separating. Left hooks from Burns. Chimaev backs him to the fence, lands a stiff jab. Good exchanges. Two minutes to go.

Round 2: Dern again runs into a counter right. She ties up on the fence, then pulls guard. Torres carrying her as Dern attacks a kimura. One minute in. Torres using the fence to keep Dern from really cranking on it. Dern gets her leg over Torres’ head and cranks for her life. Two minutes in. Torres manages to get her arm free, but Dern goes back on the attack from her back. Stalemate as Torres stacks her. Two minutes to go.

Dern has a leg underhooked. She tries to turn for a leglock. There the kneebar attempt, then a toe hold. One minute to go. Torres continuing to defend well. She survives to the bell. 10-9 Dern.

Round 3: Dern back to pushing forward. Torres tries a spinning back kick. One minute in. Side kick from Torres. Counter right by Dern, side kick from Torres in return. Dern left hook. Low kicks from Torres. Two minutes in. Hook kick lands for Torres but Dern catches the leg. Torres kicks her off after getting taken down and cracks her with a right hand, then a spinning back kick. Right hand again, front kick. Two minutes to go.

More low kicks from Torres. Dern doubles up the right hand, eats one in return, lands one on the counter and slips. One minute to go. Low kick and jab by Torres. Good front kick and lead right. Round 1: They trade leg kicks to start. Madsen’s landing some solid ones. More calf kicks a minute in. Pichel falling short with punches thus far. Two minutes in. Both land calf kicks. Nobody committing to anything major. Two minutes to go.

Pichel lands a knee downstairs, eats a flurry from Madsen and comes back with a body kick. Counter right once again from Pichel. Back to chopping at each other’s legs. Madsen muscles him down into side control. Pichel turns to his knees, slips free with a minute to go. Knee on the break. Quick punching exchange. Both fire leg kicks. Round 2: Madsen throws some lead rights, acts as though he got poked in teh eye. Pichel low kick, Madsen lead rights. Pichel body kick a minute in. Low kick connects. Solid combination inside. Good low kick and he avoids a right hand. Two minutes in. Madsen tries the lead right, can’t land clean. Madsen ducks a right hand and drags him down with a rear waist lock. Two minutes to go.

Pichel slips out, granby rolls, tries to grab a calf slicer. Madsen gets his leg free and sprawls on a shot. Back to the feet with a minute to go. Pichel stalking, sending out punches. Good combinations. He shoots, gets Madsen to a knee against the fence. Now to his seat. 10-9 Pichel.

Round 3: Pichel very aggressive early, fires a flying knee. Body kick, low kick. He shoots, can’t get the single-leg. They trade on the break and Madsen grabs a rear waist lock. Separation. Body kick from Pichel a minute in. Well-timed double-leg puts Madsen on top in half guard. Pichel regains guard and tosses up a triangle. No luck, flat on his back two minutes in. Half guard now for Madsen. Two minutes to go.

Pichel trying to get to his side, just can’t dislodge Madsen. One minute to go. Madsen looks for the back. He ends the fight dropping punches, then sprawls on a shot from Pichel, who lands one final knee. 10-9 Madsen.

Round 1: Garry circling, tossing out kicks. Weeks patiently advancing. One minute in. Hard low kick by Garry trips Weeks up. Garry tries a combination. Right cross from Weeks. Fremd gets to his feet, lands a knee, can’t separate. Brutal elbow by Hernandez, who flurries before shooting back in. Clubbing right lands for him, Fremd lands one in return with a minute to go. Hernandez refusing to give him breathing room and takes him down again. One hook in. He considers a guillotine, lands knees to the body, then takes him down again. 10-9 Hernandez.

Round 2: Early wheel kick from Hernandez. Fremd tries a whizzer kick, denies the next takedown, but not the one after. One hook in for Hernandez. Fremd slips out, gets taken down again. Long combination lands well and now he’s on the attack. He shoots in and Hernandez locks up a guillotine, then knees the body. Fremd manages to convert it into a takedown. Damn, great round. 10-9 Fremd.

Round 3: Fremd denies the first shot, can’t stop the second. Working his way up from his knees. Hernandez shoots again and takes him down. Same guillotine to anaconda transition, then a d’arce. No dice, looks for the back a minute in. Fremd drives in, forced back down with the guillotine. Elbows from Hernandez. Hard knee to the body. Again, both hooks in two minutes in. Fremd peels off a hook, but can’t spin free. Hernandez gets it back in. Fremd sweeps him, again gets forced back down. Elbows from Hernandez. Two minutes to go.

115 lbs.: Kay Hansen vs. Piera Rodriguez

Round 1: Early exchange in center cage. Brief clinch, knee from Hansen. Low kick from Rodriguez. One minute in. They trade again, favoring Hansen. Counter hook by Rodriguez, her best shot so far. Hansen fires a double-leg and hauls her to the fence. Working hard from the body lock, first attempt denied. Two minutes in. The second one does the trick and she lands on top. Teep by Hansen. They trade inside. Hansen with a right cross and a clean double-leg into guard. One minute to go. Hansen postures up, lands some shots, then passes to side control. Trying to lock up an arm triangle after getting caught back in half guard. 10-9 Hansen.

Round 2: Another rapid exchange in the opening seconds. Rodriguez falls short with some shots. One minute in. Hansen catches a body kick and takes her to the fence. High crotch to double unders. Rodriguez lands a knee. She separates two minutes in. Jumping knee attempt. Nice shot from Hansen, strong hips from Rodriguez. Two minutes to go.

Rodriguez reverses and hits a single-leg. Hansen tries a kimura, gives up the back. One minute to go. Hansen fighting the hands, but unable to improve position. Now she goes for deep half and they trade leglocks. 10-9 Rodriguez.

Round 3: Rodriguez shoots early and takes Rodriguez down into guard. One minute in. Hansen trying to sweep. Rodriguez stands over and kicks at her legs. Hansen gets to her feet. Two minutes in. Rodriguez low kick. Good left by Rodriguez. Hansen tries to trip her down, gets pressed against the fence. Rodriguez knees the body. Two minutes to go.

Round 1: Santos advancing, tries to flurry on the fence. Solid head kick attempt from Arce, who digs a long left downstairs. Santos continuing to pressure, falls short on a spinning back fist. One minute in. Santos lands a right to the body, eats jabs after whiffing a flurry. He unloads again and ties up. Two minutes in. Brutal elbow on the break that Arce absorbs. Lead up-elbow into the clinch, separation. Arce landing his jab but unable to keep Santos honest at the moment. Near-miss on the head kick. Right shovel hook by Santos with two minutes to go.

Arce dings him with a straight left, avoids a wheel kick, lands a 1-2 downstairs. More kicks off the back foot. Hard jab and cross. Santos 1-2, eats a 2-1 in return. One minute to go. Arce really starting to pick him off, escapes the clinch. Head kick appears to land and he follows with sharp combinations. He’s found his groove. 10-9 Arce.

Round 2: Santos pressuring hard, tries a flying knee and gets clinched. He reverses and separates. Arce ducks under a 1-2-2 and puts him on the fence a minute in. Knee on the break. Potshotting off the back foot. Santos tries a pair of spins. Arce 1-2. Two minutes in. They exchange body kicks and Arce follows with a low kick. Santos consistently falling short, walks into a jab. Big swings on the fence, no clean connections. Good exchanges now. Two minutes to go.

Gnarly body shots by Arce. Jabbing as he circles. Combination, head kick attempts. Santos flurries into the clinch. Separation with a minute to go. They exchange on the fence. 1-2 from Arce after avoiding a wheel kick. More sharpshooting. Body work landing. Santos low kick, flying switch kick falls well short. Santos misses a spinning back fist, lands a spinning back kick downstairs. Arce body shot. Santos tries a rolling thunder and eats punches for his trouble. Santos swinging wild but just can’t reach him. 10-9 Arce.
